This is the story of how God took a very ordinary couple who were enormously in debt, and whose lives were a mess, and created something beautiful out of our lives! He restored our marraige, got us out of debt, blessed us with 5 children, led us to homeschool, took us all around the country ministering to others, and provided us with a home of our own. My Depression Story

If you've just read "God is Our Provider," you may be wondering why on earth I would ever be depressed, when God has been doing such wonderful things! Sometimes I think that too! But, even when God is working vividly and wonderfully in your life, there are often a lot of struggles and trials going on too. In this story, I will share with you my own battle with depression, and how I overcame it. I will tell you the things I learned, and what I found most helpful in my recovery. Our Miracle Escape

On August 20th, 2007, my family and I were driving to hear a famous story teller in a nearby city, when we were involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. Another motorist turned in front of us without warning, our van hit her vehicle at 100km/h, somersaulted through the air, landed on the roof and slid into a ditch. Norfolk Island Rescue

Sometimes (hah! often!) life doesn't go as planned, and just when you think you know what you're doing, along comes another curve ball. Recently I had to drop everything and dash off to Norfolk Island to rescue a critically ill elderly relative. Read the story of that little adventure HERE.
