I'm currently in the process of writing up an exemption for my 9 year old (Year 5). I highly recommend purchasing Cynthia Hancox's exemption guide. For me, I didn't even know where or how to even get started on the exemption process. This is probably the reason why I didn't start homeschooling earlier.
