The following is from the old version of this page, left here for the next couple of weeks for those already working with it
Have you read the information in the previous page about the service I offer writing applications for families and would like to get under way? Everything you need to know is here.
If you are undecided about what curriculum or program you will be using, or are unsure if it will be suitable for the purposes of me helping you with the application, Contact Me first. I have also put together a new manual your programme that can walk you through a lot of curriculum options if you wish. See HERE. And if you have questions at any point, or have any difficulty accessing the files linked below, also feel free to contact me.

*Disclaimer: I am a very experienced home educator, and am happy to provide advice, ideas, answer questions etc. But I cannot decide for you what curriculum or program of learning to use for your children. You, as an intending home educating parent, are taking responsibility to ensure your child "will be taught at least as regularly and well as in a registered school," which includes deciding what and how they will be taught (or what program to use to deliver that). My expertise will ensure your application contains all the required information and is worded appropriately, but the content will reflect what you tell me about your plans. If you don't know what to do for a part of your program, we can discuss that - I'm here to support you - but the final decision rests with you. For those families using ACE or doing the CENZ certificate, the content of the program for core subjects will be prescribed based on diagnostic test results with guidance from myself and/or your support agency and discussion with you about course options.
To help families plan their programme and resources, I have created an optional new manual called Planning Your Home Education Programme - which will show you a range of great resources and help you decide on the content of your programme. See HERE

Step 1: Purchase my exemption guide pack
Why? It contains a lot of useful information for you to know, and you will want to refer to parts of it as you answer the questions in my information-needed document, particular around the non-core subject areas.
Purchasing the guide gives you a $10 discount on my fees to write the application, and also means that if you read it then decide to go ahead and write your own application, that's totally fine.

Step 2: Begin diagnostic testing
Download my guide to accessing and using the ACE diagnostic testing HERE (See purple note above). Please read carefully before you begin. The testing process is an important, once off opportunity to discover any "gaps" in your child's skills and knowledge, and are used to formulate a personalised program of learning.

Step 3: Complete the document which outlines the information I need in order to write the application for you. Download and save it, fill in, then save and send it to me via email as an attachment. If you need an alternative version, please let me know. This file is in Word but should open for most users in other applications. Download the correct version for ACE families HERE (See purple note above). If you need more information about the support agencies, email me.
Step 4: Email the completed documentation and test results to me and make payment as per the instructions in the above document. I will review all the information, and let you know if I have any further questions. Once I have everything, I write the draft application/s, and send them to you to review, after which I make any needed amendments and then send you the final documents and instructions on submitting them. The draft is usually completed within 1-2 weeks, unless demand is high, as it currently is with the COVID situation. For current availabilty see my Contact Page.
